Dummy Shock Length (309 Beam)

What would be a good starting point to set up my 309 beam 40mm lower than standard, I've been searching for a while today but my eyes are getting sore doing it on the phone.

40mm too much as your tyres will shred on the arches

Ok, what shock length is a good starting point or what can I get away with

I'm doing this job in the morning so looks like I'll just take a guess at it and adjust it when the cars finished

Try 312mm

On my 205 beams I usually go 313mm for about 30mm drop.

I went 315mm and touch wood ive had no issues

Is this on 205 beams or 309? Are the bars thicker on the 309 therefore need a shorter shock length than a 205 beam
