Thanks, now I see why it won't fit, I've removed the metal strap

Do you have that batery mounted extrenally just tacked to the spare-wheel bracket?? Or is it really just mounted in a cutout in the boot-floor?

What do you think? I'm not going to cutout anything if it isn't necessary. so i mounted it onto the bracket.

i like it, seems a very neat solution to an all too familiar problem to solve...
