Window Only Goes One Way

my passenger window goes down but won't go back up! I've tried swapping the relays around and switches around but still the same the drivers door control for passenger side doesn't work but the drivers door window goes up and down fine any ideas anyone also my central locking has never worked but it worked for a few locks unlocks then stopped today with out me doing anything strange

Is the motor making any effort?

 

Have you had the door cards off? My manual windows were really easy to lower but a pig to wind up. Could it not just have loads of crud on the runner? Cleaning and regreasing worked for me

Yer I had to take the motor ond mechanism out to do my window up fo security as it's on my drive if I plug my old motor or the new one in they only spin down not up

Have you tried tapping the button repeatedly fast? My drivers side does this and its really annoying, i've had the motor in pieces and it looks ok, something i wouldn't recommend you do unless you are competent you can put it back together as its quite complex in compact design and there is a ball bearing inside that will fall out and is a pig to get back in. But yes its the motor on mine.

Check wires from switch to motor for continuity, sounds like you have a broken wire somewhere.
