Did 205Xs Come With Rear Headrests?

After this happened to my brothers Alfa (head on non-fault, he was fortunately not injured)

he's gone and bought a 205XS for some frugal motoring.

 

I saw it the other day and noticed it had rear headrests fitted. They seemed a proper fit with the rests coming out the seat as opposed to the modifying of the seat backs.

 

Did they come like this in the UK?

I don't think any regular 205's came with rear headrests as standard - and certainly not middling spec XS's - but many have been retrofitted and a nice job can look almost OE.

The Tube's can be fitted from the front seat frames or the 309 GTi, SRI Rear frames had them in all ready even the clips, just no holes in the material

 

Not even the Gentry had rear Head rests

They are not xs seats though!? looks like they are out of a GRDT / Dturbo or similar.

I know nothing about XS's so can't comment - except that they are in an XS and it's a french (LHD) model.

As it's got the same door trim with the red bits and grey seats I would say it does stand that the seats are from something else, Maybe one of the Euro members will know
