Best Brakes For My Budget

hi lad i have about 500 pounds to spend on brakes for my 205.i was thinking about getting some 4 pots.what do u think would be the best upgrade for my money?

what spec is the car and what do you use it for?

Recon your standard calipers, fit decent fluid, fit decent pads, fit decent discs, enjoy.

 

I don't think you're going to find any 4-pot solution significantly better than the above option, for that sort of money

 

One important question I should really have asked first - what are you using the car for?

road use but mostly track use.it a standard 1.9 with r1 carbs.

Decent pads in the standard caliper. Having driven a 200bhp 205 on track hard I've not struggled or thought it needed more when using road tyres. Maybe 266mm if you drag your brakes
