Saw another steam car at the Nurburgring Old Timer Weekend a few years ago. The crazy looking German with handlebar tash even took it for a lap of the old circuit!

 

I work on steam boilers (a tad larger at 40T water each), and it's pretty much the same for warming through/starting for those too.
