A Close Call....

Went to go to work this morning and found this;

7C4EA878-BE7F-42D5-8BCD-5F956878B482-317

Not a happy (Easter) bunny to say the least. Still, I guess I'm lucky that the car was still there at all, it would seem that the scrote got distracted?

Anyway, can I get a lock from Peugeot and still use the same key?

What's not cheap, roughly?

Indeed, steering lock is on order and the car is now in a secure place.

Hmm

I'm guessing, but I'd say 400 quid for:

- 2 locks

- 2 keys

- boot lock

- ignition barrel

If go rape a 3dr in a scrappy

In thinking I am sure I have 2 locks and a boot lock if your interested?

still baffles me to this day why they go for the locks or door bending when you can get in without any damage

Oh can they not do a lock from the Vin number, I'm sure Mercedes could with ignition barrels.

Well that's the Welsh for you!

They may still do it. I have not tried for ages. But it'll still be a £100 ish at a guess

9170 1A
DOOR LOCK
NEIMAN -
- COMBINATION SPECIFIED UPON ORDER

I do believe that's the part number you would be after, you need to be sure the car is on its original keys and also have the key code card, if you don't have that I think the dealer will have to ask Peugeot france what the code is and often will charge you for it.

IF you can sort all that, then the barrel and a key blade is shown at £57 on servicebox.

When i was at a citroen dealers we would make the locks up,we would measure the profiles on your key, these measurements would give you a ward size to put in each slot of the key barrel,im sure a peugeot dealers would be able to do the same.

not sure they would Damian, Citroen keys and barrels are different even though they look similar, I have taken my ZX's ones apart but not my pug's yet.
