Vz_ace 0 Posted March 27, 2013 Hi. I have occasional problems with switching on the driving lamps. I wanted to replace the switch when it happened again, but before that i tried and only opened the fuse tray. The lights started to work! so i had to open the tray. What could be wrong? Which and where exactly is driving lamps relay located? What colour is it usually? Some pics would be welcome. thanks, Vlado
Ryan 99 Posted March 27, 2013 The diving lamp relay is the one on the far left. I think its normally green, but that doesn't really matter as it's just a standard 4-pin relay.
Vz_ace 0 Posted March 28, 2013 Is the same for LHD? ok, i can try;). What do you think, could the relay be the reason for the problems, mentioned above? Any other suggestions?
omri617 18 Posted March 28, 2013 Not sure about the driving light relay , but , in my car , the wipers stalk didn't work on the first (slowest) option. it turned to be that the washer relay (i think it's blue) , wasn't pushed down all the way. make sure everything is tight . Vz_ace 0 Posted March 28, 2013 ok, i will check the connections first. But does exist any fuse (relay) tray layout or schema with description of fuse and relais locations, here on the forum or else where? If yes, i'd be glad to know where.thanks.
welshpug 1,648 Posted March 28, 2013 yes, in m@tt's signature there is a pdf haynes manual, its all in there, relay is on the bulkhead next to the expansion tank on a rhd car, check earth points either side of the headlamps also.
Vz_ace 0 Posted March 28, 2013 What is bulkhead? Can you find and mark a picture of relay&location for me? Where do the head-lamps have earthpoints?
