Beam Tube Lengths

Right, I've delved through the search results and can't find any info.

 

I'm after the actual beam lengths on a 205 and a 309. All I've found they're 18mm different each side.

 

Am I also right in thinking the ZX ABS arms add another 9mm each side?

yes 9mm, they will aslo give you neg camber.

Its the hubs not the arms that make the difference to the track.

The 309 torsion bar is 37mm longer than a 205 one so I'd expect that will also be the difference in beam tube width.

Not quite tube lengths, but gives an idea of additional widths overall without taking into account the 18mm extra from the wider hubs, also more info in the following posts.

309 tube length is ~972mm

 

The 205 one I have has an arm left on it so won't be able to get an accuracy guesstimate on that.

Thanks. 205 tube should be in the 935mm area then if there is 37mm difference.
