Braided Fuel Lines

Recommended Posts

dobby909

So my fuel lines are looking a little worse for wear now! i was considering just running a braided line direct from the fuel pump, through an inline filter and into the fuel rail...any issues with this idea?! its on a gti6 engine and by the looks of things there is a fuel return line? worth just running that as a braided line direct?

Are you planning on running them through the car? If so, be warned that the pipe can "sweat" and the interior will stink of petrol.

Never use copper with modern fuel, Google is your friend if you want to find out why.

Pipe wise as said you need the high quality pipe which isn;t cheap, If running inside the car then you need more fittings as well which bump the cost up, The std metal pipes from Pug are only £25.00 anyway
