Door Pillar (Black Vinyl) ?

is the door shut pillar on the phase 1.5 205 painted black or use the later type vinyl covering ?

Well was - I covered it in vinyl.

It should by vinyl - PSCUK have just had these made using an original dealer template we bought. Have look in the group buy section on here or at www.pscuk.net in the shop.

I'm sure I've read in the past about 1.5s having paint and the vinyl being a ph2 finish.

All my 1.5's are painted, my phase 2 is vinyl.

if thats the case paint it is im restoring to 100% original so has to be right

As stufarri said they should be vinyl on a 1.5, at least mine was when new, the passengers door was paint for a while when the bl00dy accident repair centre got it wrong

Mine's a 1.5 and it was painted too.

 

It probably just depended on what they had on the shelf on the day,

 

"no vinyl today jean-paul."

 

"ah just use some blackboard paint pierre"
