205 Beam With 306 Arms

Recommended Posts

If I was to run a 205 beam with 306 arms would it be fine with the normal 205 front set up? or will the extra width at the back upset the balance of the car?

You won't gain any width with a 205 beam with 306 arms unless you use the complete 306 rear brake setup, I use 306 arms on my 309 tube i think with the 306 disc setup I gained a extra 1/2" I think

This beam has the 306 discs and calipers on it already. Will it make much handling difference with that set up and a normal 205 set up at the front?

I can't remember the exact specs but 306 arms give neg camber and toe, mine is alot more stable than with 205 arms

Brilliant.. thats what I wanted to hear. I suppose anything will be an improvement over the dead one that was on there. Cheers

it's 9mm extra per side, so not quite as much as a 309 beam.

I run 306 rear arms (+ discs) on a 205 tube and enjoy the extra width

No, any 306/zx/xsara disc due to the additional offset of abs hubs specifically.

There's a thread somewhere (I can't find it) which states the camber and toe from various arms.

Yeah there is, i did have it bookmarked but can't find it. There was a list knocked up by Sandy covering about everything that could be fit on 205/309/306/ZX/Xsara beams.
