Mi 16 Oil Surge Solution?

Looks like a tidy set up in conjunction with the various other measures. I'm sure those with experience will be able to comment on the drain locations but looks good to me.

 

Does the oil spray bar have holes in the exhaust side, or is the valve train lubrication purely reliant on sitting in an oil bath?

Euhhh, no but it will help drain the head won't it :)

I agree, but i think this is a neat solution of draining the head, in combination with a RFS oil pump, trapdoor sump and oil spatter plate, MI 16's could be the ultimate 205 engine once more.

You just need to ensure that the drain pipe extends down into the oil and doesn't drop oil onto the crank.

Nice setup, hope the pipework doesn't foul the exhaust manifold.

As mentioned wouldn't it be better to pipe the return directly into the sump? especially if its got a windage tray and avoid any reciprocating parts otherwise the oil returned isnt going directly into the sump to be immediately utilised by the pump

I think so. You can make the single return a size lager then too.
