Reverse Cable

Hi,

 

Has anyone got a pic of where the cable goes into the gearbox? I haven't got a cable and my gearbox has breathers everywhere so I'm struggling to see where it goes.

 

Did a search but could find any pictures of reverse, only clutch.

 

Any pics would be brilliant, as I said its got breathers in it and I don't know if they are in the right place.

Also - if I get a cable from main dealer will I be missing all the gubbins that goes in the box? (spring etc).

also... I dont know what date my gearbox is, its a peugeot sport cr kit. There are 2 different cables listed on service box, are the only differences gear lever end rather than gearbox end?

The spring-loaded pin is part of the cable, so you don't have to worry about that. The cable just screws into the gearbox and everything works.
