Oil Pressure Sender Unit - Best Source For Replacement?

Recommended Posts

mmatthej1

I have previously replaced the sender that connects to the dashboard oil pressure gauge, using a second-hand sender, but I would really like to fit a brand new one - can anyone recommend a good supplier, at a reasonable price, please?

(I've been in touch with Peugeot, who can supply, but at cost of £85.10+VAT=£102.12, which seems well on high side to me!!)

Thanks for that lead to Intermotor - I'm just looking at some other possibilities as well.

If you are changing it because your pressure gauge is erratic, then check for the brown multiplug under the air flow meter which all the sensor wires go through as it will more than likely be that. I had one once that slowly dropped all the way back from France making me think I had a serious problem then I cleaned the contacts and it pinged back up to normal :)
