Got a 1.8D breaking coming in work and i need some bits off it

 

need to know whats the same?

 

windscreen?
boot glass? if heater elements any good

depending on age of donor the wing could be different - the indicator hole.

Radiator, heater matrix, some interior trim, alternator(?), starter motor(?), gearlinkage, boot struts, most lights, just look around and you will find much more than you think is common. Other bits and pieces like the trim section between headlights, rear badge, windscreen wiper motor and mechanism, rear wash wipe, lock set, headlight stalk, the list goes on.

 

Other usefuil thing is that the 5 door seat runners are lower than the 3 door as they lack the tilt mechanism. It can be handy to fit these to the GTi driver's side if you are willing to give up access to the rear seats on the driver's side.

N.B. you generally will find that wings are very hard to remove without damage due the sealent used

Windscreen is the same on all 205's but will have a different tint, if any to the GTI, same for the rear screen & other window glass.

well got nothing to loose on removing the wing!
