Torque Wrench

Sorry, highest range.

60-300nm. Retails at £84.99 and goes down to approximately £47.00.

I need to have a flick through the haynes manual and see if I am better off with that for now, or the 40-200nm one (£74.99 down to approximately £54.00 on trade)

40-200 is the more useful of the two IMO, as there's a lot of torque settings significantly less than 60Nm but few above 200Nm.

Indeed, I'd argue that the smallest one (8-60?) is probably the most useful, as that probably covers more of the uses on a 205 than the other two.

My main uses would be suspension components when I change the lot over on my car shortly and then wheel bolts at trackdays from swapping wheels for piece of mind.

I have a pair of beta ones at home which are the same as halfords ones which are more than adequate, in work though I found the only torque wrench that has survived for any real amount of time in the 70-300+nm range has been our snap-on click type one (not the posh electric one) the rest seem too suffer ratchet failure within a few months, for the smaller wrenchs teng are very good 5-25, 40-200 etc.

Too big. Just buy a 3/8" Snapon. Weld a 35mm socket onto the end of 1m of RHS for hub nuts.

I have to say I agree with Peter. I use my 3/8 drive Snap On mostly. Wheel bolts I do at 100Nm with a 1/2" Draper I've had years. Hub nuts I rattle up with my gun until they won't go any tighter.
