Door Pins

Will part number 904434 door pins work on a GTI?

 

I thought the number was 904431 but on ebay these pins cost twice as much.

 

Also there is a seller selling coated door pins, would these be better than originals?

Doesnt matter if its a base model or GTi, the only difference is there's two types, the earlier knock in pins, mainly found on earlier cars, and the torx screw in type, 90' onwards. I cant remember if the original items are zinc coated but the advantage is minimal imo.

yes the originals were yellow zinc passivated.
