Oh I do hope some level of maturity can be maintained on this weekend - I have not booked a club 18-30 weekend abd my car will not have a 'cruise plate' blu-tacked on.

 

'I'm more a single malt kind of guy.

 

Matt, no worries there - in previous years it has been a sensible weekend all the way through. All have been considerate drivers who like a spirited drive and a few beers in the evening.

 

There is even a Nightclub (showing my age here) in Bowness if anyone fancies it.

 

Just remember everyone that it's not a race. There are some faster sections of road where we can enjoy the driving and Ade always selects a good mix of A roads and challenging (and steep on occassions) B roads.

 

I can't wait!

Hahaha finally somebody understands ! ( on my knees and thanking god) and yeah mate its my first ever one and i know its going to be a great few days , looking forward to it.

As for the plate yeah like i sai just simply so people who sort of dont know me or seen the car etc will realsise its me

You coukd perhaps use it as a spanking paddle? a bridge for your warhammer battalions? An ice scraper? Anything but sticking it in your car window!

pfft, talk about being old then you go talking about names on sunstrip's. I remember these badboy's.

Sure welshpug does as well. He's been around longer than he's letting on I'm sure.

 

If you want to be noticed at the meet simply wear an anorak, take a notepad in which to copy down everyone's name and registration and wear a name badge. Oh yes, only drink Bovril in the pub.
