What is the best way to install this?

 

I know it's a divvy question, but I wondered what you did?

 

205 thermostat in the adaptor or 306 thermostat inside the original housing? It appears to allow both setups.

 

Also, did you silicone/RTV the mating surfaces??

i have recently done the same to mine as jamie has. i use the coldest stat for the 306 83 deg i think, the stat sits between the 306 housing and the adaptor.
