Near Side Sill

Hey Guys,

 

Just on a off chance of anyone doing a restoration on 205 Gti has anyone got any photos and guide lines to replace a the near side sill? I ask this because looking at pictures of a replacement sill where it attaches to the quarter panel it has a risen lip which presume goes behind the quarter panel skin and plug weld the two together but as I'm unsure on this I didnt wanna tackle the job myself until sure and in the crevis between the sill and quarter panel I'm guessing is just sealed with a adhesive body sealer.

 

Any info on this would be appreciated.
