Oil Temp Sensor

Sensor thread has got chewed, showing at NFP on service point

 

Any idea where i can get one, eBay shows lots of water coolant ones but not oil

 

may have to use a universal one

Same here, i got one a few weeks ago and it wasn't NFP then, you sure you have the right part number ? You could try using a gti6 one as they do have the same thread size etc and probably work the same way. I know people that have used one for their 205 gti6 conversion and can be bought on ebay.

 

Part number for the oil temp sensor is 024281 £21.77 inc VAT.

 

Could be another case of the parts man not trying hard enough.

0242.81 is 14 mm diam

 

unfortunately i have the 16 mm diam one 0242.50 which is NFP, got a local motor factor on the case

I got a QH one from a factor. If your struggling i can get one from abroad there's a few showing.
