Fuel Pipe Olive

Unless I'm a wuss, I can't pull the fecking pipe off the fuel pipe at the high pressure end (olive joint)

 

I've undone the lower lock nut, but the top pipe won't pull off!

 

Any clues?

They've been together for over 20 years so they can get very well joined together but it should separate with enough force if you can apply some twisting action into the flexi as you try to pull them apart, they should go without too much trouble imo.
