using standard b4 struts, you can't go far wrong with eibachs.

i also had apex springs as well, but they seemed a touch harsher

Well i will be getting some decent struts later but i just want it lowering for lakes trip ( just because it will look better imo) haha and if i get crappy springs the drives and the drive up may be hell haha

Many of the forum members will recommend eibach.

Lower than -30 is pointless imho

Ditto

Eibach all the way B) .. great springs , bar the rest , surprisingly i found them to be better than OE springs on bad road surfaces :)

Just stay away from OMP and Platimex !

Eibach , H&R , Koni is what i'd look at for lowering a 205

.. ditto , im sure that you can get custom made springs in UK .

Spax are poor and I'm surprised they cost that much

Coilovers aren't worth it, as said above, anything much below 40mm ruins the car & is purely for looks & wasted money that could go towards better dampers to star with.

Doof has a good set of shocks (about the best you'll get for sensible money) in the for sale section now for £200 iirc.

Btw, you don't want it too low for the Lakes trip, some of the roads (aka passes) on the trip have seen standard ride height 1.9's catching so lowering too much could spoil the trip for you imo.
