Krish 2 1 Cars Posted February 27, 2013 As the title of the thread, is it a simple swap to change the alloys or is there more involved? And am i right that the 1.6 bolts can be used? (i searched 1.9 alloys on a 1.6 and didn't find anything useful so sorry if i have missed the answer, also not sure if this is in the right section ) Krish
Anthony 1,002 Posted February 27, 2013 Yes, it's a straight swap. You can use the 1.6 bolts fine, although the heads will stick out proud of the 1.9 wheels - 1.9 bolts with the shorter head solve that.

One last one (sorry to be a pain) what have people found to be the best locking wheel nuts? Krish
omega 82 Posted February 27, 2013 Many thanks, good to hear. One last one (sorry to be a pain) what have people found to be the best locking wheel nuts? Krish i would say the best locking nuts is one that is still being made so if you loose the key or it brakes you can still get a spare.
