I followed the filicide to altering my rev counter as per this thread - http://forum.205gtidrivers.com/index.php?showtopic=114881&&page=2

 

The bugger does not work!

 

Where would you start looking for fault ?

My mate tried this on mine ealier, although he was uncovinced but thought we'd give it a go. I thought it would be quicker than him making up a loom to get it working and it didn't work. Although the needle moves it's all over the place.

I have never known this to work on a 6 engine, only the diode loom method

This is the method i used on my rev counter with a 6 ECU... works flawlessly!

It works.

 

Turns out you have to wait for 3 or 4 seconds and it jumps into life.

 

Works perfectly now I have ran it for 20 seconds. (Just plumbed it up)
