if you want functioning suspension I'd get a full arch not just a trim, unless its a full on sealed surface track/hill competition car with very stiff suspension.

If you have a look on their sites you will see they have a range of different types from trim extensions to full wing replacements.

ive been searching for weeks they seem pretty rare.

cheers.

I love these arches, think they make a proper job of it. I know these are track cars but anybody know if they are suitable for a rally car??

They're what I'm probably going to end up fitting as I don't think I can get the clearance with Rallye arches (even though I'm not majorly wide-track), so I'm going to try these JDM-copy efforts.

i agree mate i think they look awsome, couldnt tell you bout them on a rally car though mines just a daily driver haha.

ive seen a guy on retro rides selling the jdm copys think there only 75 quid a set, do you know anyone whos used these before? surely they would need some modding to fit to the rear and front trim?

also stumbled across this website http://ala-plast.com/ they sell them on ebay aswel.

There you go, a guy on here mentions his friends sells them on ebay (old thread but he may still) so might be worth dropping him a PM and getting the friends contact details

If anybody gets round to trying the jdm ones, i'd be interested to see how much work is needed to graft them on. Ive adapted a set of mini group 5 arches on mine at the moment, but they're far from perfect

theyre very similar to what the subaru lads use made by a company

called ABW think they retail around the £200 mark..

A friend of mine is lookin into getting them made in grp rather than plastic

.His scoob has the ABW but think the wheel arches are

a lot wider ill dig a pic out.

Have asked the bloke for some pictures, but not seen any yet, no (other than the generic wide arch kits out there which I suspect they're very similar, if not identical, to)

I will sell my arches (205 Rallye style ) soon. They are 1" wider on each side then standard GTI arches.

You can see pictures from them on my webpage or in the "drivers car garage".

If you are interested send me a PM.

Ye mate, think I might have to go down the jdm route with the arches seen as the ones I want are like unicorn piss to get hold of, could you let me know if you get hold of a picture? Cheers.

cheers baldy,

hit a spot of look last week guys, ive managed to track down the guy who used to make the arches and the wide fronts aswel.

thing is he's playing things down as hes close to retiring but has said he will sort me out with whatever i need. : )

£120 standard wide arches or £155 for the wide ones on the front. (grp arch) which i thought is reasonable for new ones.

also somtime in the near future he is planning on selling his arch moulds and plans for the moulds but....the money would have to be worth his while so im guessing this is not a cheap venture, but on the other hand im sure theres money to be made from them.

soon as ive found out what contact email he wants to use ill let u all know for those who are interested.
