G45 Wmm- Anyone Know It/owned It Or Still Got It?

As mentioned anyone know it?

Its a black 1.9 gti, I owned it about 7/8 years ago.... When I got it it had been parked up in a car park at the back of a block of flats untouched for about 2 years. After leaving a note on the windscreen, within an hour or so I got a phone call to see if I wanted to meet up, have a chat and see if we could come to a deal!

In the end I payed next to no money for it as he wanted it gone and no one really wanted a pug back then! Me on the other hand, I was as happy as a pig in sh*t, as I'd just got a low milage, clean car for pennies. It had a dent in rear quater panel from some little turd and a football and that was it! Not a scratch!

After sorting a few bits out on it, drove it around for about 6 months untill it all went horribly wrong one evening on the way home from work....

Long story short, the gear box decided it didnt like the car anymore and made an exit rather hastily!

It sat on my girlfreinds parents drive for about 2 months whilst I thought or planned my attack, which was when my mistake took place!

I ended up swapping it for a Rover of all cars, but I had the itch for a turbo so that took over!

The last time I saw it, I rung the fella I swapped it with and asked for it back as I had relised I was a knob to of let it go.... To which I got the reply of "nota chance!" He had given the pug to his mrs, that was after it having a full engine re-build etc. She had fallen in love with it, hence the answer I'd got from the phone call. Maria I think her name was.... Anyway, last I heard they had split up and he had moved away, she still had the pug.... That was around 6 years ago tho!

Done the DVLA check and that came back with nothing, so I thought maybe someone on here may know what the fate of G45 was?????

Never know, may even be interested in having it back if it was to come up for sale...

Its gone, or is on a new plate if its not on DVLA.

Really? Im disapointed know, was looking through some old pics and it looked fresh sat there. Was that that sparked my interest in it again!
