Falken Ze912 Tyres On Track?

Recommended Posts

Rich_p

I need to look into getting some tyres for the track car this summer after stupidly selling some 888’s & speedlines for far, far less than I should have last year.

Now the car is in development and hasn’t yet been run with it’s current suspension spec (25mm tb’s & 400lb springs) so I’ll be doing a few cheap airfield days first as shake downs I imagine.

I don’t really want to kill a new set of expensive semi slick tyres doing this so am wondering what 912’s will be like as I have a half warn set on my daily civic.

My thinking is bung some new tyres on the civic and use the 912’s on the pug.

I find them a bit soft on the civic but then it weighs a lot more than the 309 does.

Having searched they have quite good reviews as a road tyre on 205's/309's but has anyone run them on track before on a pug and what were they like?

They've served me well so far, never been particularly melty... They have now been replaced by the 914's.
