Bilstein Tarmac Inserts Re. Long Spindle

I am replacing some inserts as they are short spindle for some long spindle ones from my spares

.

However the spindle length seems really long. It measures 58mm. The short ones were 26mm.

 

Long spindle inserts:

Part number 59472 375 225

Total length 574mm

Body Length 320mm

 

Short spindle inserts:2906V36 0548HO

Total length 542mm

Body Length 390mm

 

Are these the correct long spindle inserts? I can sort of remember getting them off a Works 306.

Yeah that is the same length as the long spindle inserts I have. I have got a set of the PTS top spring caps which have quite a thick spacer section on the top, presumably to take up some of the spindle length.
