Does Anybody Know What Model Wheels These Be?

As the title. Does anybody know what model wheels these are?

They look like early 90s Ford Escort/Onion wheels that came on some of the special editions to me.

er, well given the url is "GutmannAlloys7x15forcoverphotoanti-socia" I'd say they were Gutmann 7x15"s.

 

 

 

ask henry, he still has a Gutmann brochure afaik.

Most of the Gutmann wheels in that style have a diamond shaped opening where the wheel bolts go, these are round so not sure. I'm sure Henry, the man who knows everything about Gutmann, will be able to confirm either way.

you're correct, the centre isn't inset in the pic of my alloys. Mine have a deeper dish than the ones in your pic too, but you can't really see that from the pic I have posted.

You'd think! But that is the title I have given the picture as I bought them to complement some Gutmann parts I have

I suspect they are an uncommon variant Gutmann alloy. I shall do some digging, some cracking suggestions as always on here, but we're not quite there yet...

Thanks for posting that j_turnell, I'm hoping that that pretty much rules out the Fords (although they do look a little ford-ish now it has been mentioned), as they aren't cossie multispokes with their center cap.

Found these in the Gutmann brochure, but again they are slightly different, the wheel bolts aren't recessed.

I reckon I'll make a special trip to my storage space today to see if I can pull any identifying marks from them to help in the search, I did originally just 'want' to know but now I'm being annoyed by it!

Got it. A German company, "Atiwe", who were apparently bought out by Borbet back in the 90's.

Borbet now makes an "Atiwe" alloy wheel which looks nothing like these.
