Also regarding solidrocks / software you don't have to have a full CAD suite to do 3d modelling for printing.

I use 3Ds Max, but for those on a tight budget look at Blender. Its free and apparently quite good and intuitive for modelling.

The restrictions at work won't let me add pictures for some reason? It's my last day at work, so I won't have access to a legit copy of Solidworks until I start my new job.

but if a mod could sort the link above out for me it would be appreciated.

I have modelled that from memory, and I need the exact measurements to get a Cad model ready for printing. But it only took me 5mins to create.

edit, oh it worked!

Looks pretty easy to make. To be honest doing the whole driving light would be quite easy.

Ok , heres the badges ive done so far. Ive been tweeking the speeds etc and managed to alter the retraction etc on the parts so may give a better top layer quality with less machine marks. Ill print a few tonight and see what they look like once ive finished my spool holder

Perhaps a 405 with a V6 engine could be called an Mi24! :)

Well specifically it still is Bosch Motronic on the V6, but that would kinda spoil the vision our mate Matt has for his 405

Ill draw it up when i get home. Are there any others people would want to see? Maybe a p.t.s one or something similar

also, i made myself 1/4 of the inlet flange for my b18c honda engine im gonna make some runners to suit aswell as some trupmets for the tops of the bodies. Mainly for fun but if theyre resistant to petrol they may go down well. And for using on a flow bench, would be fun testing runners and bellmouths to give optimum efficiency

Trumpets are what i plan to move onto, will have to see how complex they are really. The ones im gonna do for this set up are parallel but i could do twist or whatever which would be cool, id hVe to see how they come out first

Yeah they must look cool, I'd like some big bell mouthed ones with a droop on :-)

I was going to see about making some in fibre glass but I may hang on if your interested in making a few?
