Looking For Transport Advise Or Help :)

hi all im looking at buying a 205 on ebay im sure some of you may have seen it, its a miami blue with a blown engine. i would quite like to bring it home and revive the old girl and get her going again, only problem is i dont have a trailer :/. was wondering if anybody knows of anybody that would be willing to help for cash or knows on a company that doesnt charge a smal fortune cheers

There is a website where you put in your details and company's bid for the work, I can't remember the name, but a chap I work with used it, so ill ask him tomorrow and let you know.

As for people on here helping it might help if you say where you are and where the car is.

I think some company's advertise on eBay as well.

was it shiply? i just found it , the car is located in north wales CH65QJ and im located in windsor sl4 5sh cheers

Shiply is pretty good, I had a my car delivered form Scotland to Wiltshire for just over £300! bargain if you as me, transport company were a little stupid though.

There's a lad i know from the RS Owners Club who does car transport / recovery and he's moved a fair number of members cars on there & has a very good rep. He's also based in Wales (albeit South) but has taken cars up as far as Scotland & over to the south east coast for members on the RSOC before, so is willing to travel

 

His name's Adam (aka Series1RSTurbo on most of the RS forums) - number 07896 686022. You can quote my name/username if you want to (it's the same on the RS Owners Club) so he'll know who that is :hehe:

thanks all but i was too late i offered to pay straight away but guy said i was second in line, fair play i guese. cheapest quote i got was 130quid which isnt too bad north wales to near west london i think was a pretty good deal
