Speedline Sl434's

Just about to buy a set of these for a white 1300 Rallye.

Two questions:-

1. White or silver?

2. 195 x45 x15 or 185x55x15?

Any thoughts?

White.

However, I like steelies on a Rallye

white

I'd go with 195 x45 x15 on a rallye personally for a bit of extra clearance but most people will disagree due to the (marginal) effect to the handling

As above. White and 45's. They are ET8 so sit quite wide on a 205 beam. I thought you had PTS 13's for it?

Euro Rallye with the arches or UK Rallye without?

If a Euro then yes to the SL434s in white, though you could save a wedge of cash and get steelies

If a UK then stick to steelies

Hell, EVERYthing looks better on 106 S2 Rallye steelies!

if you choose white, please do it in the same colour as the car (P0WT).

Are you running them with road or comp tyres?

Thought a 45 would be a bit low pro for a 205, certainly my experience of them was not nice.

I used to run 45 profile tyres and to be honest prefered them on a 205. Silver

On another note id love a lazer with sl434's.........

Thanks for the comments.

I use PTS 13x7 wheels for speed events but am getting a bit tired of driving it to and from events with them on the back and some old 405 steelies with Mohawk tyres on the front. So the options are to get some nice 15" wheels and continue driving it to events or buy a trailer. My financial adviser is willing to "release the funds" for either but since a trailer would be a mega tight fit in my garage the other option is some nice wheels:)

Still undecided between white and silver 434's for the looks or 2120's for the lighter weight.

PS I've also got the proper 205 Rallye steelies with 175 50 x13 tyres for ultra low gearing, but not good for a road journey of more than about 2 :)

Still sort of undecided between white and silver, with silver being the front runner.
