Richbrook Lift For Reverse Gear Knob For Use With A Be1 Box

Because I can't get a decent Be1 gear knob I was thinking of getting one of the knobs linked above. Has anyone had any issues with fitting or use?

 

Anyone got a picture of one fitted?

get a BE3 knob and swap the tops over

I did think of that but every time a get a replacement it seems to split about 6 months later. Either I'm doing something wrong or they just like being removed and refitted?
