306 S16 Rear Beam To 205 1.6 Gti

Hi every one, I have a question that you guys maybe to help me???

Would a 1994 306 s16 rear beam fit onto my 205 gti 1.6 1990??

not without alot of hassle and hard work, cutting welding and drilling.

Nope. Far too wide unfortunately, and the mounting mounts are different.

 

It has been done before, but you need large arches to cover the wheels (as they stick out significantly from the bodywork) and various modifications and fabrication, and all for questionable benefit.

 

309 beams will fit a 205, but easier to find a serviceable 205 beam than it is a 309 one these days.
