What's This Relay For?

Hi all,

 

Please can someone point me in the right direction and tell me what this relay is for?

 

The car is peugeot 205 with mi16 engine.

 

Help would be appreciated!

Need some details like relay number or wire numbers to check or at the very least a picture of it and where its located as were all bang out of telepathic powers here mate :/

Located next to drivers side front wing under bonnet in black box

Is there another (possibly green) one next to it? If so, then its likely thats the injector relay, its triggered by the ecu and the other is the fuel pump. They are usually down by the drivers side headlight in an mi16 conversion. Does it click when you turn on the ignition? or perhaps when you crank the engine? Also, the wire numbers going to it would be a help in identification.

I will try and get more info when I get chance to get under the bonnet. I noticed a clicking noise from the one in the picture whilst reconnecting the battery and wondered what it was because of the loud click.

Fuel pump relay for an Mi16 iirc.

 

if the white wire leads from it to an inline fuse its the fuel pump relay & the green one is the injection relay.

 

Please try to put all relevant info into your first post rather than pointless posts just to bump your post count.
