Just wondered what everybody thought of the DS 3 range? Bought a diesel a few weeks back and i have been impressed!

Nearly bought the wife one end of last year, but since the Audi we had was a floor less car, we bought an over priced Polo (A1)

It's a fantastic car.

Referring back to DS3 - it's a 308 underneath with a cool shell on top. I currently have a 308 Sportium HDi 112, it's ok.

More like 208, its a lot smaller and different running gear to a 307/8.

208 (based on a 207) really does handle well.

To be fair, the Citroen product is cracking nowadays. And the DS3 is rather cool. Abby wanted a white one with pink roof & wheels.

I insisted on the A1

There's definitely a stigma with the Citroen badge still

Look at the RCZ, re-brand it with an Audi,VW or even Jag badge and it would be hot cakes.

Yeah your right mate. Maybe the DS range may put Citroen on the car map again

I can see the appeal of the DS3 range, and i have driven many of them - but i struggle to find a comfortable driving position in them. I am 6'6 but am i the only one who finds this? Its like the pedals aren't far enough towards the bulkhead in relation to the steering wheel. If ever i have to make a long journey in a borrowed citroen then i take a C3 instead, since its basically the same but has a better driving position and that novelty windscreen.

Personally i dislike them but then thats between me and new cars in general.

Leg room in the back is also a problem for the taller person. Parkers also picked up on this on there review or something similar

We bought one late last year. Amazing car, ok so it's not got the rawness of a 205, but that's a given.

We considered the 208, but the DS3 looked fantastic against the 208. Likewise the dealers said the 208 was going to be massive, yet to this day I can barely recall seeing a dozen of them on the road. The only thing that is like the 205 is that fellow drivers wave!

For a one line review, the handling is great, it looks amazing and the performance is ok once you get above 3k on my 120 VTi petrol, then with the Citroen £1500 deposit contribution, finance at 6.3% and free servicing and recovery for 3 years, you can't moan at that.

I bought mine from drivethedeal.com as they discounted it by a further £1500, much to the displeasure of the local dealer who wouldn't budge on the price. I decided against a 1.6 THP as they seem to have engine problems, but I think theyt may have solved that now on the 155 THP versions. Take a look at the new 3d rear LED lights on them now, and only best part of £500 if you want some for your earlier model !!!!
