S16 Maf Sensor

The maf sensor on the s16 is built into the ecu, if there anyway that you can test to see if the maf is working properly? How common is it for one to fail?

S16 does not have a MAF.

 

 

the ecu however does have a MAP sensor.

 

I have not heard of one failing, though not uncommon to read of the gti6 MAP sensor failing, the S16 one is somewhat isolated from the heat and direct vibration that one is subjected to.
