What Pas Set Up For 2.0L Turbo

Recommended Posts

I hoping to get the one of the subframes for my Miami turbo project away for powder coating in the next few weeks so need to think about what pas set up to go for. I currently have a 309 pas rack and a 205 manual rack.

Do I use the 406 pas pump?

Will 406 pipe work fit 309 rack?

Is the 309 rack even any good?

From what I hear the ph1 xzara rack has a nice feel but agin what pump and pipe work is needed? Plus means buying yet another rack.

I never bothered with pas on my last gti6 conversion, but was a bitch to use around town.

I like the idea of using 205 rack and the corsa electric column but not sure if my lanky legs will fit with the motor on the side of the column and can I make it look OE. I've seen a few done in rally car and the like but none with the plastics refitted.

I haven't got a definitive answer for you, but I believe if you can mount any standard Peugeot pump then you will be ok. A lot of people got for a 106 / Saxo electric pump, but you may need to get some hoses made up for it.

use the std Pug pump off a GTi6 engine or similar, The pipe work you may as well use the 306 GTi high pressure pipe which is a direct fit, the low pressure side you just make to suit

Perfect, so 306 pump and resoviour should work.

If I was to go for 106 setup do I only need the pump and resoviour and just get my local guy to made up some pipe work
