Im after info on tyres please guys.

The car is a 1987 205 1.9 GTI 130BHP+ 40mm drop running LSD.

At the moment it has Semprits on (the worse handling tyres i have ever come across)

I want a tyre that fills me with confidence when cornering, stop when i need it to but at the same time do 10k+ cost is not a issue due to having a good tyre supplier but hes not sure what would best suit the car so thought would ask you guys.

The car is being used daily no track use at all.
