Some of the Gutmann photos from half way down the thread I have not before seen. The forum is otherwise Dimma heavy as you would expect:)

I have a photo rebuild step by step of the blue 205 on my old pc I believe.

Wow! Never knew so many different types existed, this one however is amazing!

They are all just so retro cool! Where's My Yorke when you need him? I would assume he's seen them all before though!

Some things age well. But those graphics (IMHO) haven't.

Not so much as a 'timeless classic', but more of a 'thank funk we got past that phase'.

Falls into the same catagory as 3 spokes.

Also is it just me, or do many of the photos of 205's with a certain graphics/wheel combo make me first think of an MG maestro?

i bought almost the Verte Sorrento, almost 8 years ago! (half page 2) Because the former owner wouldn't drop the price, i bought my Dimma.

99% i've seen before. I have more information, which is not there on that site. Nevertheless is nice to see it.

The Miami is Dave Hoopers Turbo 8S, but I have not seen it at Pugfest for the past couple of years :(

There are a lot of Ruggari conversion pics in there too which is a beautiful kit, but not that common in the UK.

Henry, do you mean in those 2 pages? The only Ruggeri i see, is the silver one in the article. Here in the Netherlands there are a few Gutmann's, but (as far as i know) none Ruggeri's. We also don't have a Turbo S8 ;-(

I must dig out the pictures, but I used to have a gunmetal grey Gutmann Turbo-Look 2. Bloody lovely it was and was not without admiring glances. Didn't have side repeaters which makes mot time interesting. It was an unfortunate event on the day after the rolling road in the icy winteryness that an Astra slid swiftly from a roundabout and crinkled up the back of it like one would crush a handful of crisps.

I sold the five spoke wheels to a chap on here many moons ago, it was unfortunate that the shell was unrecoverable. Out of curiosity it would be interesting if anyone here knew of it... F918 TFB iirc.

I was working in a factory at the time - lots of grumbly old men... Carlos Fandango was mentioned regularly lol

Here we go - forgive the quality of the photos, these are old.

Edit - or not. Guess I need to read the 'how to photo upload' bit.

Edit 2 - Would someone be so kind to do hosting or something - I can turn my computer on but I'm not all that savvy with the rest of the opportunities it gives you.

I cannot host personally unfortunately, but I believe many people use the "photobucket" website to store uploaded photos upon and handily link them to other places on the web like forums :) ...

I think I spotted you selling the wheels on eBay ages ago and asked what happened to the rest of the car :)

That you did... you have a far better memory than I. Shame that it was no longer serviceable however I'll try and get the pictures up here shortly.
