That is truly fantastic! I'd love to see a board range of peeled cars to check that even over prolonged amount of time the plasti-dip didn't cause any problems to the paint underneath. A clear plasti-dip sounds like a great idea for quick and easy spray on protection.

Interesting. It looks a perfect way of protecting your wheel arches (if the water doesn't get behind it, but then again it is the same with paint)

There is an mgf on the net somewhere that was done a few years ago. The dip was standing up very well.

Now I've seen this just wonder if dip and flat White is the way to with my pug!

I successfully 'dipped' the trim on my 205.

I found it very easy to apply from a spray can. So far it has proven resilient with no signs of tearing. The plasti dip creates a matte finish, and then I applied normal vinyl or plastic trim shine product to create a gloss.

I did my bonnet!!

Goes on quite well, needed 2 cans for a bonnet but then I'm not great with a can!!

Edit::

I used this as I wanted to see if I liked the matt black bonnet, which I did so went to satin black auto bonnet... Also did my grill which was a bugger to get it all off when prepping for satin spray!!
