Loved these when i was younger but i could only get a decent insurance quote on a R5GTT back when i was 18 in '98 so the Escort & Fiesta RS were a no go at the time

 

Although i did get to finally own an '88 Series 2 for a year in '07 to '08 before i bought my GTI, and it was a great car. The previous owner to me had it from new. Sold it for £2k, and late last year i saw it up for sale priced at £5K, so the prices are certainly on the up for the decent, standard, well looked after examples.

 

I really need to pull my Focus RS out of the garage this year and get it back on the road, although i keep putting the money towards bits on the 205 instead lol

Yeah 100% standard

.Know what you mean i havnt driven it for quite some time and it just sits in its Permabag.Theres one good thing with RS's they wont go down in value and mk1 focus RS's still command a good price.
