Quick Question : Radiator Fans-Which Is For What?

Quick question : Radiator fans-which is for what?

There are 2. when standing facing the car , the left one is out of order.

Is it for cooling the radiator , or cooling the air conditioner radiator?

 

Also , where do i get silent fans. some 205's have them i don't know anything about it.

Both fans work together on the twin fan setup, as the airconditioning condensor and the radiator are stacked one behind the other. They work on a low speed together for the general radiator cooling, and on a high speed for the A/C.

 

Try unplugging the fan and cleaning the connector, as they can corrode. Also test the fan on a 12v feed from the battery to see if the fan is working.

 

As for silent fans, I assume they are aftermarket fans, rather than peugeot ones?

yes after market ones . and didn't find any.. some shops didn't understand what i want from them when i asked
