Who Owns The Lowest Mileage 205!

he bought it for his Dimma fully race-spec project. His old Dimma crashed and he was planning to put that kit on a new chassis. Then he bought a new Dimma kit instead to put onto it. After several years of collecting parts, investing time and money, he came to a point of doubt to go on with this enormeous project. He decided to sell everything by lack of time to finish it. For as i know, the kit was fitted roughly, but not in colour. Only the enginebay and chassis were in colour. Rollcage was fitted. Engine was build for 90% and so on and so on...

Now that's fantastic! I've asteel grey 1.9 with 94k on the clock..needs work to look like yours though..Have you had her from new?

What sort of mileage will you be doing on it daily?

 

Your car looks mint and unless you have a safe car park etc. I wouldn't want to drive this daily and park it anywhere, non-sheltered etc.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I have a place to park the 205 safely at work, I am not sure how long it will be my sole transport, I love cars so normally have at least two like many on here. I guess I may put 6,000 miles on it a year if I have another car along side it.

 

I have had the car almost 6 years now and have never driven it believe it or not! It will be on the road this weekend for its MOT test.

It was originally owned by a lady who was in her 80's.

 

As I may have mentioned, I previously ran a low mileage Renault 5 GT Turbo as my company car for a couple of years and against popular belief, it proved completely reliable and much fun. I had owned a 205 GTi 1.9 and then Renault 5 GT Turbo in my teenage years and wanted to revisit them as they are such great cars albeit a bit rare now in everyday usable condition.

Those with the low mileage ones will not be on here!! I spoke to loads of older gents at the classic car show at the NEC who have them in 4 figures. Infact a guy in the PSC has just picked up a white, non sunroof F plate 1.9 with 5,300 on it! No point in a pic as it is a white 205!!

Car is currently in storage over the winter but it will be out in the new year and be driven!! It won't do many miles a year as i do want to keep the mileage low.

 

I always wanted a white, 1.9 without sunroof and then this one comes along, I'm very lucky.
