Recommended Posts

p1234

Currently im running 2.25 by 6 inch springs on the front

And 1.9 by 8' springs on the rear

Im unsure of the poundage of these, would it be marked on them anywhere? Im looking to raise the ride height and possibly soften the car slightly as its currently set up for racing but im converting it to rallycross.

Anyone any ideas on what springs I should go for?

I ran 280lb fronts and 140lb rear springs on a 205 rallye with same setup. The rear was too soft for my liking for track use. The springs you have should be marked. Some companies print onto the coil others score the top where it seats so you might have to remove them to check

on wet concrete and gravel i ran 160lbs springs and found turn in good with very little understeer, i ran no ARB on gravel and had the ARB fitted on the concrete.

What length are the springs you guys are using? Ill need to raise the ride height a few inches for gravel as its a tad low at the moment and thats with no engine in.

Mine is way too low to base my spring lengths on but your springs look quite short. You could add a few inches and adjust the spring platforms to suit
