Fuel Filter To Fuel Rail Hose - Questions

Hi friends

How can i remove this hose ,it sems to be fitted very hard!

and where can i get a replacement?

By mistake putted in 16V . Meant to be on XU 8v . sorry..

started to look for a fuel hose , can anyone tell me , how much pressure there is normally in that hose?

3 bar. You need injection fuel hose. I think the hose youre speaking of is the formed plastic lined hose? I used a stanley blade to remove it.

You'll have to cut the hose carefully along the length of the banjo union to remove it, or straight across at the end of the tail in the hose.

 

You'll struggle to find the correct hose new but the correct spec of fuel hose can be used in its place with the correct new fittings & hose clips just it won't be shaped.

i want to just remove the banjo , to remove the outer (protection) hose , fit a new one instead , and fit all back - hope when i do so , i won't make the hose too short to reach the filter.

Why do you need to change it?

 

As its a pretty sturdy plastic lined thing I have never come across the need to replace one other than when doing a 16v conversion.
