Idle control valve sticking shut?

Take it off and give it a good cleaning out

Is it plugged in for starters?

Not sure from the description if this will help-

if it hasn't been running for a wee while, would you not be best: first cranking the engine plugs out, plugs in turning over with minimum amount of throttle application, hold the revs up at 2-2500 for 10-15 mins or so and it should idle itself. I just did that to my rebuilt xu10j4rs engine and it sounds good to me. Wouldn't idle to start off. Change oil, and filter, all should be good.

Make sure everything is plugged in, try a new icv perhaps? Symtoms sounds similar to unplugging a MAP or IAT

check fuel pump pressure. Are you sure it's priming?

Almost sounds like a dying pump.

Have you started enough times for it to use the 5 litres you put in?

ITs not dead fuel in the lines is it?

Just thinking if it has been sitting, maybe the rail and pipes have the old low octaine fuel in them?

I doubt its that, my 205 had 2 year old fuel in it and fired up fine with a fresh battery last year.

From what i have read it doesn't seem you have taken the lines off and cranked it over to see what the fuel delivery is like. Take off the feed hold it in a bucket and crank it, it should come out at a decent pressure.
