Front Anti Roll

Are there any different front anti roll bars? Im after a firmer one than the standard 1.6 gti item i have, is it worth changing this to stiffen up the front end? The car will be for fast road/ocassional track use, im alteady running powerflex bushes on it.

309 GTi is larger (21mm vs 17mm for 205 GTi).

 

I personally prefer the 205 item, but others run the 309 and prefer that. Certainly I would suggest a bigger rear ARB in conjunction if you were to fit.

 

No doubt plenty of opinions and comments if you do a search for 309 ARB (use Google as the forum won't search 3 letter words)

Its a different setup completely on the base model cars. They dont use the same wishbone/arb design so its not transferable.

Personally I wouldn't go fitting a bigger front ARB, I'd fit stiffer springs instead but your choice will be pretty limited unless you run coilovers.
